Produktinformationen "Portal"
The project Portal, initiated by Johanna Klingler and Amir Saifullin, functions as an artistic and cultural exchange format between Russian and German artists and cultural workers. It concentrates on questions around community and emancipation within the respective political and economical conditions. Portal exists since 2018. After an exhibition in July 2018 at Lothringer13_Florida Munich in collaboration with curator Ilya Samorukov (Samara, Russia), the book Portal brings together contributions by artists and cultural workers from Germany, Austria and Russia, which are engaged in the development of emancipatory structures, regarding for example community, pedagogy, health or self organisation.
