I hope you and your children have as much fun reading it an looking at the images as I had writing the story and drawing the pictures. ...Fritzchen continued her journey into the dark forest. As she passed an old oak tree, she heard weeping.A shrew family shivered at the base on the tree. Fritzchen asked "Hello Shrews why are you so sad?" The father replied: "Oh little hen, we have lost our home and it is so cold". Fritzchen said to him: "Don`´t worry, I will spread my wings and you and your family can warm up underneath". Happily, the whole shrew family cuddled under Fritzchen´s feathers. When they had warmed up again Fritzchen carried on her way.
